Background

Engineering Profile

Mechanical engineering undergraduate at TKM College of Engineering, Kollam.

I’m a Mechanical Engineering undergraduate at TKM College of Engineering, Kollam (CGPA 8.21). My experience includes CAD modelling, FEA, CFD, vehicle dynamics, and structural analysis.

As Design Head of Team TraX, I led the design team working on a chromoly trellis chassis, including CAD iterations, PVC prototyping, ergonomics, and manufacturability. I also assisted in analysis, suspension, powertrain, and documentation tasks across the team.

My hands-on experience includes a research internship at NIT Calicut focused on structural dynamics and FEA of vibrating structures, and an industrial internship at Cochin Shipyard Limited covering shipbuilding operations and quality assurance.

FEA stress contour of radiused gusseted T-joint Structural FEA

Gusseted T-Joint Structural Evaluation

Group Project (6 members) • Oct 2025

Structural evaluation of gusseted beam-to-column T-joint connections in steel frames under static loading. 3D CAD models were built in SolidWorks to define joint geometries, followed by static FEA and fatigue life calculations in ANSYS Mechanical comparing radiused gussets against sharp un-gusseted joints.
